Monthly Fairtrade Scarborough Action Group Meetings
Everyone is welcome at our monthly progress meetings held in Westborough Church (map) starting at 6.45 pm with coffee - Fairtrade coffee, of course!)
Events
We announced our Fairtrade Borough Status at our meeting on July 1st and then publicly at the Methodist Conference on July 5th, 2008 (see picture).

At the Scarborough Borough Council meeting on Monday July 7th meeting the framed certificate was presented by the Mayor. The certificate will be displayed shortly and arrangements have been made for the Mayor to present the other two copies for Whitby and Filey at their Town Council meetings to emphasise the Borough-wide award.
Scarborough Fairtrade Action Group will have a stall at the Rotary Club's Community Fair on Saturday 16th August 2008. Do come and meet us! We will still be celebrating the award of Fairtrade Borough status! We will be selling Fairtrade goods, and there will be a tombola!
